TEAM LEGION IS AN ELITE HIGH SCHOOL PREPARATION FOOTBALL TEAM SERVICING THE D.C., MARYLAND AND NORTHERN V.A. THAT HAS CREATED A PLATFORM TO DISPLAY THE TALENT AND SPORTMANSHIP OF OUR ATHLETES TO THE WORLD. WHILE GIVING OUR ATHLETES EXPOSURE TO THE AREAS TOP PRIVATE AND PUBLIC HIGH SCHOOLS.

TEAM LEGION IS COMPRISED OF 2 TEAMS, A 7TH GRADE TEAM AND AN 8TH GRADE TEAM WHICH PLAY SPRING AND FALL FOOTBALL WHILE BEING INVOLVED WITH A FULL OFF-SEASON PROGRAM TO KEEP OUR ATHLETES SHARP AND IN TUNED WITH THEIR SKILLS AND CONDITIONING.

COACH MARVIN
COACH MARVIN IS THE CEO/FOUNDER OF TEAM LEGION. A DMV NATIVE WHO GREW UP IN THE KETTERING - LARGO AREA. PLAYED HIS YOUTH FOOTBALL FOR THE KLM COUGARS BEFORE ATTENDING THE DeMATHA CATHOLIC HIGH SCHOOL WHERE HE EARNED ALL-WCAC, ALL-P.G.COUNTY, ALL-MET, ALL- STATE, PIGSKIN TOUCHDOWN CLUB ALL-MET, AND ALL-AMERICAN HONORS DURING HIS TIME AS A STAG.

COACH EARNED A FULL FOOTBALL SCHOLARSHIP TO THE UNIVERSITY OF ALABAMA, WHERE HE STARTED 33 GAMES AS FULLBACK AND EARNED ALL-SEC, WOODROW LOWE HEADHUNTER AWARD, AN SEC-CHAMPIONSHIP AND PLAYED IN THE 1999 FEDEX ORANGE BOWL VS TOM BRADY'S MICHIGAN WOLVERINES.

COACH MARV HAS BEEN COACHING HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL NOW FOR 15 YEARS WITH STINTS AT CENTER HIGH SCHOOL, SHAWNEE MISSION NORTH HIGH SCHOOL, MEADE SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL, NORTH COUNTY HIGH SCHOOL WHERE HE SERVED AS THE HEAD COACH, BISHOP McNAMARA, AND NOW BACK AT HIS ALMA MATER DeMATHA.
